The Gold Spot 9 Year is matured for at least 9 years in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels, ex-sherry butts, ex-Bordeaux red wine casks, and ex-Port Pipes, resulting in a sublime and complex marriage that exudes a decadence worthy of such a profound bottling. Bottled at 51.4% ABV, this whiskey is one of four expressions in the Spot Whiskey range and boasts aromatic notes of sweet peaches and slivers of apricots in caramel, honey, and cinnamon.
